Our house was built in 1931, our bedroom is in the addition (I don't know when this part was built), which comes right out of the original house.

Sometimes at night, I hear muffled voices or music that sounds like it's coming from a radio, and I usually hear the same few phrases repeatedly.

I can't discern what is being said. 

I just can tell it's the same.

I've also heard footsteps go up and down the stairs, like if someone were wearing heavy boots.

I've heard my husband call for me, when I went to see what he needed, he was sleeping.

Once from the bottom of the stairs I thought I saw him go into the bathroom at the top of the stairs, so I waited until he was done.

I kept waiting and waiting and he wasn't coming out, so I went up there, and he was in bed with the door shut.

He doesn't believe in ghosts and thinks I'm crazy lol but I can sometimes feel like someone is there.

This stuff was happening before the following incident, so idk if it's related.

The neighbor boy came knocking on my door saying his mom was sick and needed help.

When I found her, she had been passed away for quite sometime, due to a drug overdose.

I took her son to my house and fed him breakfast, let him play, etc until CPS got there and took care of everything, so he didn't have to see the emergency responders taking care of her body.

I definitely felt like her spirit came home with me, and I felt like she was trying to say thank you for taking care of her son and that she was sorry for it, that it was accidental.

I later found out she went to rehab and then came home and relapsed, so it wasn't on purpose.

I said out loud “I understand, and you're welcome.

But you can't stay here.

If you're ready, you can go to the light” and then I didn't feel her presence after that.
