My Mother Was a Paranormal Entity

This happened a few nights ago.

I am someone who's very prone to getting sick.

I'm either always down with a cold or a fever, and they usually cause me immense body pain and keep me up at night.

And so, when I woke up at what I assume to be around 2 A-M with a lot of body pain, it wasn't all that unusual.

It's important to note that I was super exhausted when I woke up, and my room was extremely dark.

I was sitting up in bed, my limbs and chest in constant pain.

I knew I wouldn't be able to fall asleep in such discomfort.

Just then, my mom entered the room.

You might think this was strange, and looking back, it definitely was.

But I assumed that I was being quite loud and that woke up my mom.

Since it was dark, and I was feeling groggy, I couldn't exactly recall her face.

But there wasn't anything off about her demeanour.

She asked me what was wrong, and I told her that I was unable to sleep and I had body pain.

She then asked me if I wanted to take paracetamol, and I responded with a yes.

My mom then went outside my room, and I, through my sleepy state, saw the lights turn on.

This was normal, because you had to go downstairs to get the medicine box .

She returned a few moments later, and I vividly remember taking the measuring cup and downing the liquid inside it.

I also remember her handing me a water bottle and I drank from it.

I don't remember much after that, but my mom left and I fell asleep.

The next day, my mom was simply sitting in front of the TV, but she didn't ask me how I felt, which is what she usually does.

I told her that I was still feeling drowsy because of the side-effects of paracetamol.

My mom then looked at me strangely, and asked me why I took the medicine.

I was super confused, and replied with, “You gave it to me last night?”.

My mom still vehemently denies the fact that she ever even stepped into my room that night.

I'm inclined to believe her, because she has never, and I mean never played “pranks” on me before, especially one that required her to actually give me any medicine.

In addition, my mom loves to sleep and there's no way she'd ever get up in the middle of the night to play such a poor prank.

I'm not sure anymore if what I saw that night was my mom.
