A Bigfoot Summary
Posted On: April 20, 2023

I posted a few times last year but I've been trying to put the entire Bigfoot/Sasquatch picture together like a puzzle. Here are some pieces I came up with. My main sources were Survivorman: Bigfoot and the podcast Sasquatch Chronicles.

-always on the move in small numbers of 1 to 6, (mix of adults and adolescents).

-the loud howls/screams are communications to mate, or tell others that a new Bigfoot is in the area, the soft woops are saying “hey are you another one of us”.

-they use broken branches and logs placed in cross positions, to communicate possibly about territory.

-groups keep a large distance from each other.

-200,000 to 300,000 population in several countries.

-they live in dense wooded areas, that would be extremely difficult for a human to get to.

-they make large nest-like sleeping areas, of flattened foliage.

-they eat plants/fruit and animals, like deer and rabbits.

-they hunt at night, sleep/eat during day.

-there are different species, depending on location. Hair density, length and color varies, similar to apes.

-they easily avoid humans due to their small numbers, knowledge of the wilderness, and can likely hear us coming from quite far away.

I don't know why none have been caught on trail cams, unless they can see infrared light wavelengths, that cameras give off.

I'm on the fence on the “mindspeak” and their overall level of intelligence, or if intelligence varies between species.

Also on the fence about their spoken language, instead of primate sounds, again maybe different species have levels of language.

What else is there?

Interesting post, yeah it's got me thinking. I don't have like a list somewhere. Ok, stuff you didn't mention.

Fascinated by human children, they have been caught observing them at play; possibly helped in the survival of lost children, who have described them to an extent, who also turned up healthy after enduring otherwise hypothermic and deadly conditions.

Tree knocking and rock clacking, not sure what it means.

Tree snapping, boulder throwing, as a display of gtfo territorial semi-rage.

A retired forest service guy told me what convinced him was particular claw marks he saw on tree trunks, high up. He refused to go into detail, but imo there must be something intellectual displayed along with their tree clawing. Idk what it could represent.

Their eating habits will vary depending on location. Coastal squatches have been observed digging for clams. And expressing territorial howling around their clam sites, while humans dig for them.

Squatches near farms will snatch pigs and chickens.

They construct natural hunting blinds to give them an edge on pursuing and ambushing game, like deer etc.

They will keep game alive whenever possible for future consumption. Example, breaking legs of live deer.

The more aggressive ones will stalk, harass and bluff charge people. The worst of these can and will kill.

Historically they have been described as “men stealers” by some natives; some were feared because they killed and ate people. I'm not sure about this with modern squatches but it's god damn gruesome.
