A way to get involved with UFOs?
I wanted to post this clip one of the members of the skywatcher group im a member of on discord uploaded last night.
This video, although it is nothing special, shows how easy it is for people who have a shared and genuine interest in the topic to actually get involved and play in active role in data collection. the liason I have spoken to over the past few days has offered help at every corner with everything from helping me find the correct hardware/software combo to tips about who has tried what and what has been proven to work best.
I'm wanting to inspire enough people to begin a new group, a group where the only things allowed to be posted would be data/video/evidence sourced from within the group. In a perfect world everyone in this group would have their own UFODAP hardware and an I7 to run the OTDAU software.
I have taken the liberty of carting the cheapest, Quality set up and this is per the liaison's guidance and as cheap as possible, this is a one camera set up that will track and identify any anomalous objects that pass overhead, it will record into the software for viewing and storage, it CAN now be run remotely through a special router ( sorry tech guys) so you don't have to put it on your roof.
There are multiple other attachments that you can add to the system (example: RF/antenna/fullspectrum/dual camera for wide and zoomed tracking.)As well as another additional software program called control center the allows you to view/control the multiple functions/sensors at one console.
This will go as far as you're willing to go. If enough people notice this post, and I can get at least 50 volunteers to begin the UFO/UAP Data collection and analysis group will purchase this cart tonight and get things rolling.
I'm in Ohio, and eventually I will build a mobile box set up that we can take on the road.
Thanks everyone also for your time, and I hope everyone understands, I have a family, 2 kids a life that I for one enjoy.
I just want some answers, the only way I see any REAL answers coming out is to literally start over square one outside of the government and keep all outside previous UAP research out of it.
This a very real and very alive phenomenon the is happening outside your windows, in your skies daily, we won't have to search very far for long and we will have our very own data, data we will then collect and archive and producer quarterly reports with FACTS, any other info is almost pure speculation at this point. we can use our own data to eastablis baselines in speed/color/time of day/location/proximity to metro etc.
Who knows maybe after a solid year we will have enough dat to say definitively UFO travel on. average X mph, UFO sightings increase by a factor of x50% after midnight etc etc etc.. you get the point.
Hopefully people much better with video analysis will show up with the guys who are really good at investigations/ helping get everyone set up collecting data and we can get to work.
P.S. Im not looking for funding or anything like that so keep it pushing with the garbage.
