Some Bellingham Washington Big Foot Stories

I'm a budtender here in Bellingham and I had the pleasure of working close to the Lummi Nation. Through casual conversation I would hear stories about what happens out on their boats, by the river, and at home. Young or old, male or female one thing made itself clear, they all have a sasquatch story.

Now I'm sure it's not everyone, but it is enough to where I'd ask people at random and they would recount a personal Bigfoot story. Maybe it's screaming in the woods, one of my friends saw him outside his house one night. Someone told me a story about how he was on a boat fishing in a spot where for some reason no one ever fished. My impression was that he hadn't heard anything specific about the spot, people just didn't fish there. Of course it was at night, and of course the power went out on the boat. He said he walked toward the back of the boat (pretend I said that in ship speak) and there he saw a large man standing there with his arms crossed his chest. It was conveyed to me that this individual was "unnaturally" tall and appeard to be a man. The teller of this tale didn't get closer to investigate the details of this stowaway. The teller of this tale got a fellow shipmate to put eyes on this large individual who was still at the stern(?) Of the ship. The other person saw them there and was rightly terrified. I can't rightly recall how this incident ended and I will refrain from intentional embellishment. The point really is to say that here in year of our lord two thousand and twenty-three there are people who encounter this creature and other interesting phenomenon in a very real way. I know these people and I see no reason to not believe their recounting of an incident that they'll remember for the rest of their life.

Bigfoot Case Files had a group of stories 3 or 4 months ago about Sasquatches swimming out to boats at anchor in Alaskan harbors. Their motivation seems to be curiosity. They climb on board, look around a bit, then get back in the water and swim away.
