Ok, it's boiling here in Poland.

In a huge nutshell, something fell in a forest in Poland, in a village near the city of Bydgoszcz.

I'll summarize everything I know about (state of knowledge as of 27/04 12:00).

Police and Military Police showed up in the middle of a forest near Bydgoszcz on Tuesday. The reason? Initially it was unofficially determined that an unspecified and "unidentified" military object may have fallen there.

A large funnel has formed at the site of the accident.

April 24 is the presumptive date of the reported sighting of the object in the forest. And that's where the logic ends.

The first unofficial media reports pointed to a "missile." Subsequent reports spoke of "Soviet" inscriptions on the alleged missile. Well, and this is where a lot of ambiguity begins to emerge:.

The village of Zamosc (53.073618497215996, 17.81116941377396) is located a dozen kilometers from the city of Bydgoszcz, where the NATO base takes place. The whole area is more than 200 kilometers from the border with the Kaliningrad region (RU territory). If it was supposed to be a Russian missile, it would have to fly several hundred kilometers unnoticed and fall near the NATO base - in the age of constant monitoring of the sky, I can't imagine that.

Around 12 o'clock, further information appeared from the Polish media. Well, and it gets even weirder. Quote:.

"The air-to-ground missile found in a forest near Bydgoszcz is up to several meters long and is embedded in the ground - this is the unofficial findings of an RMF FM journalist. Initially, the services thought it was an unmanned aircraft. It was later determined that it could be the remains of an airborne missile. The tube was empty, it is not known if it exploded, and the warhead was also missing.".

How can the services not distinguish between an unmanned aircraft and a missile? They stated that it "may" be the remains of a missile? That is, they do not confirm it?.

The information about Russian inscriptions was no longer there, but there was a mention that it was "our" (military) missile.

So another question: ? Someone launched an air-to-ground missile near a built-up area ? If someone fired it then they must have this information - so why the information about the search for the warhead, well no one noticed anything? Another option: they lost the missile - well then how come it got several meters into the ground ? I'm waiting for further developments and photos (the object was found by civilians).

A few days earlier, a drone operator at a construction site, recorded something whose flight trajectory could indicate the location of the forests where the object was found.
