UFO Summoning and the Scientific Method

Science gets a bad reputation around here, there's no getting around that. But science, more than anything else, is a tool. It's a tool that has gotten us to the moon, provided countless new medicines, and given you the tech you're reading this on right now.

So let us use a little science, shall we?

So, what do we do? Well, I have a basic idea of what we could do. However, I am not a professional scientist, so this is going to look a little rough. If there are scientists on this subreddit, you should definitely refine my design as much as you can.

That said, UFO summoning methods. They are pretty common on the internet, but there's a very important question that we can answer using science: Do they work? Here's the setup.

Control Group (No Method), Number of UFOS spotted in the last day:.

Group 2 (Method one), UFOS spotted in the last day:.

Group 3 (Method two), UFOS spotted in the last day:.

And it goes on and on like that until it encompasses all of the summoning methods you can find on the internet.

So, why more than one UFO instead of just whether or not one was spotted? Because spotting one could be a total fluke. But if you manage to do the summoning method more than once and get the same results? That's significant. That's science, baby! Because now you have something with a repeatable result. That means everyone can test it, possibly even refine it. Maybe someone could even invent a tech doodad that could summon one, depending on which method is used, of course.

And hell, you invite one down, they stay for lunch, you could get a biological or technological sample from the aliens or interdimensional beings if you're lucky.

Point is, everyone here wants to bring UFOS out of the realm of fringe science and woo and into the realm of hard science, and this would be an excellent place to start.
