Firm UFO Believer But Open to Skeptics View

I have been such a die hard believer ever since I was introduced to Bob lazar through the JRE podcast. “I want to believe” is so true because it seems like all we have is anticdotal evidence. With the government putting this dog and pony show on with these recent “ufo” Chinese balloons in the news lately I don't know what to believe. The wife and I needed some fresh drinking water for camp, I had seen a good-sized spring a couple of miles from camp. We only needed a couple of gallons, the creek next to camp had brownish water, fine for cooking and coffee. Report of a UFO sighting I had last Friday night in Tennessee

So I got my reddit account back mostly to post this. I've been thinking about what I saw and how to write it. I'm a huge skeptic but I find the topic entertaining. I have zero proof of this encounter but I need to write this out for posterity. Friday evening around 9:30, I went to take the trash out. On my way back inside I decided to take in some fresh air and look at the stars. I live in NE Tennessee, way out in the Appalachians. Now, this is all just speculation on my part, and assumes a few things. So I'll start with the facts. FACT 1: UFO sightings increased dramatically after the first atomic tests by the US (and yeah, it's atomic not nuclear at that point). FACT 2: There has never been a report of a UFO engaging and destroying a human fighter craft. In fact, the UFO's always seem to avoid and retreat from a potential engagement and use their speed and agility to effectively run circles around us. On the first day at camp I took a walk on an old logging road, about a mile from camp I got a feeling and found myself frightened and heading back to camp. I realized I had been mind fucked, never had this happen to me before, it made me very mad. Big Foot Trips Motion lights! No footprints!

I'm an admitted skeptic or at best an agnostic. I am still a Bigfoot fan, without necessarily being a believer. I've mentioned before I had three "ghost encounters", that were all definitively explained. No bigfoot encounters. One "ufo" sighting that I can't explain (just s satellite looking, non blinking, no sound light, looked like a fair sized star, tracking across the night sky at a good clip, then took a very sharp 90 degree turn and moved away at a fast clip.
