Some Theories on Why Sasquatch Are Hard to Catch on Trail Cameras

So earlier in the week, my wife and I were discussing on why our cats particularly like to chew on my instrument cables, display cables, and power cords. We've narrowed it down to live chords and cables. To clarify, cables that are hooked into the wall and are receiving power and has an active current. They seem to leave all of my other chords alone but the ones that have an active current, they're chewing on them almost immediately. They love them. Now I don't want to turn this into a cat post, but this is very very important...[More]

Header note: this started as a comment in a thread, but since it became its own thing and was almost off topic, I figured I would make a post of it for conversation purposes. Here's the thing… a pistol shrimp literally can snap it claws so fast that it creates a 4800 degree 288 decibel interaction with the water that is loud enough to be picked up by submarines miles away. It literally flash fries small prey while simultaneously rendering them unconscious from the power of the sound. We now know that certain species of octopi&n...[More]

This is another piece that started in an offline conversation, but shows the trends of the community as of late. In addition to the conversation it was also inspired comments made on a Face book page as well by a well known enthusiast. This isn't a trend that just popped up yesterday but it is apparently a wart on the ass of the Community. I'll throw this out there in question format. Can you call yourself a Researcher as opposed to an Enthusiast if your main goal is to get on Television? In my opinion, No, you can't. It's not h...[More]

Some Bellingham Washington Big Foot Stories

Some Bellingham Washington Big Foot Stories

Posted On: March 24, 2023
I'm a budtender here in Bellingham and I had the pleasure of working close to the Lummi Nation. Through casual conversation I would hear stories about what happens out on their boats, by the river, and at home. Young or old, male or female one thing made itself clear, they all have a sasquatch story. Now I'm sure it's not everyone, but it is enough to where I'd ask people at random and they would recount a personal Bigfoot story. Maybe it's screaming in the woods, one of my friends saw him outside his house one night. Som...[More]

The Infant Crying Sasquatch Trap

Posted On: March 23, 2023
A very long story short, I had an encounter back in 2016 with what I'm assuming was a sasquatch and a very aggressive one at that. I ended up chasing it off with a shotgun but never did get a glimpse at it at all. I'm still new to the Bigfoot scene. a couple months ago I first heard the Sierra camp sounds on hunted 411 and that's why I believe that my particular encounter back then was a bigfoot. It was very similar. And I've been looking into it since. Anyway, I recently watched small town monsters and the episode that I&...[More]

Sasquatch Tracks and Statistics

I am a fan of footprint evidence. I think it is some of the best evidence we have when analyzed by experts who see characteristics of the print which indicate it is a real animal. This has been done multiple times by Dr. Jeff Meldrum, for instance. Below is a brief description of some statistics stuff that I think many may find interesting. It may be something you'd like to hear once in your life just to become more educated on an interesting topic. I hope you enjoy it!. I see a flaw in one of Dr. Jeff Meldrum's claims, which is a...[More]

My Big Foot Experience in Northern California

So I went back to write this as a comment to another post about the Sierra sounds but seems like it was deleted. Takes a lot out of me to do this so I apologize for not writing it sooner to those in the thread. Here it goes…. During the fall of 2020, I was trimming weed and staying with friends in willow creek, ca. I currently live in my home state in the Midwest but lived in humboldt county for 7 years during my twenties. So when the pandemic started, I lost my job as a massage therapist. Being that is was an awkward time to do my jo...[More]

Sasquatch Kill versus No Kill considerations

Sasquatch Kill versus No Kill considerations

Posted On: March 18, 2023
Today I dust off an older chestnut in the world of the Monkey Hunt, that old argument of kill verses no kill. This one has been around for a while and easily has evoked as much debate as any other long standing debate on this subject. Personally I take a pragmatic stance leaning towards the no kill stance, and I'll get into thought on both sides of the argument, and admit in advance that some of my stance will be based solidly on the hypothetical. The reason why is simply because no one in the community has produced a body so the creature i...[More]

Sasquatch Encounter at El Dorado California National Forest

These are 2 separate encounters my brother had during our childhood, the first one was in 2009 the second was in 2015. The location is a place called Salt Springs Reservoir in Amador County CA. The first encounter happened on the road from the campsites up to the reservoir, we driving slow probably 15 mph and my brother said he saw an Orangutan sitting in a bush staring at the car as we passed. He said it's skin was gray and it had red hair like an Orangutan, we speculated it could've escaped from a zoo but ultimately played it of...[More]

Why do we consider the Patterson and Gimlin Big Foot film to be among the best video evidence

I think there are a lot of weird circumstances about the situation and I also think most of the talking points regurgitated on this sub about why it's good footage are relatively misinformed. The Abominable Snowman of The Himalayas came out 10 years earlier in 1957 and set a strong precedent for the story of Bigfoot to be profitable. A newspaper called The Humboldt Times referred to the creature in the film as “Bigfoot,” which we've been calling it ever since. It seems like a very profitable marketing strategy to then com...[More]
