The US National Intelligence office is now aware of 510 reported sightings, an increase over the 144 compiled in the spy agency's first assessment. China sent a balloon up. Pilots reporting low observability and possible radar jamming from objects. UAP maintaining altitude of around FL400. Balloons don't typically climb to FL400 and stop ascending. Balloons with a payload typically don't smash to pieces upon impact with the ground.
